iServit

Based in Cluj-Napoca and operating since 2015, iServit works with small and medium-sized companies that need a complete cloud infrastructure for their web applications but do not have an in-house DevSecOps department. The team, made up of a small group of specialists, describes its focus as designing, implementing and securing cloud infrastructures, positioning itself as an external partner for businesses that require ongoing infrastructure support without building that capability internally. Alongside infrastructure work, the agency also lists search engine optimization, custom software development, mobile app development and web design among its services, and has built applications such as Snow Buddy, for ski and snowboard schools, and Plan Me, aimed at wedding service providers and couples. On the technical side, the agency designs and implements infrastructures specific to Google Cloud Platform and Google Kubernetes Engine, using Terraform and Kubernetes configurations. It builds or optimizes CI/CD pipelines, incorporating image scanning and security testing into deployment processes, and cites work reducing a nine-microservice deployment to a single-line process for one client project. Security-related services include audits of cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes cluster configuration and IAM access, alongside active monitoring of infrastructures and clusters to adjust performance parameters, manage resources and set up alerting. It also applies practices related to monitoring, alerting and data recovery, as demonstrated in a project for a mountain rescue localization system built as five microservices with two accompanying mobile applications, which the agency treats as a critical-infrastructure case in terms of security and availability requirements.
