Maverick Indonesia

Founded in 2002 in South Jakarta by Ong Hock Chuan and Lita Soenardi, both formerly of Ogilvy PR Indonesia (then Indo-Ad), Maverick Indonesia is a communications consultancy serving businesses and brands navigating reputation management and market visibility in Indonesia. The firm started with six employees, grew to roughly 75 before the pandemic, and has since settled at around 50 staff. Citibank served as its first retainer client, and early crisis management work on a high-profile court case for an international client established the agency's standing in that field.
