McMillian

A small creative studio operating out of Huntington, New York, McMillianCo. was founded by William McMillian in a Brooklyn apartment and has grown into a member of the New York City design community over more than a decade, having also been based in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. The team is a compact group of designers, developers and creative thinkers, and the studio has an established interest in working with non-profit, local, and arts organizations, alongside businesses launching new brands in the New York market. The studio's work spans strategy, brand identity and interactive development. On the strategy and content side, services include idea creation, research and planning, brand guidelines, content writing, social media and print production. Design work covers brand identity, environments and signage, packaging, illustration, photography and hand lettering. On the interactive front, McMillianCo. handles UX design, web development, responsive design, WordPress solutions, customized CMS builds and eCommerce. Past projects referenced include a full website build for a non-profit organization ahead of a centennial anniversary and a corporate brand launch, including website and marketing materials, for a ferry service entering the New York City market. The studio describes its small size as an advantage for close collaboration with clients throughout a project.
