The Creative Industry

Founded in Chinatown, Washington, DC, over twenty years ago, The Creative Industry is a small creative services consultancy led by partners Ian Delmonte and Erin Delmonte. The agency works with non-profits, associations, and B2B and B2C organizations, including retail groups, helping these purpose-driven clients connect more effectively with members, donors, policymakers and other stakeholders. Past client work referenced includes organizations such as the Regional Airline Association, the Vermont Network, and a co-op grocery store, among others spanning the non-profit, political, entertainment and healthcare sectors. Ian Delmonte has provided creative strategic consulting for organizations including The Universities at Shady Grove, PerScholas, The World Bank, AARP, UnitedHealthcare and Children's National Medical Center, and served on the board of the AIGA DC chapter. The agency's declared services include Search Engine Optimization, Branding, Graphic Design, Web Design and Social Media Marketing, with described project work covering website design and development, branding initiatives, marketing campaigns, publication design and other creative services. With a team of ten or fewer, the founders remain directly involved throughout each engagement rather than handing clients off to project or account managers. To take on larger-scale work, the agency draws on a developed network of outside creatives, designers and developers, allowing it to scale project teams up or down depending on client size, from small organizations to larger ones requiring additional resources.
