Founded in 2012 by Lynne D'Autrechy, Buzzquake Marketing operated out of Ellicott City, Maryland, serving businesses in the region for around 13 years before being acquired by Johnny Flash Productions, a Maryland-based digital agency. Following the acquisition, its client base and service offerings were absorbed into Johnny Flash Productions' broader operation, which serves the DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia area, including local small businesses, churches, and non-profits. Buzzquake's declared services centered on search engine optimization, web design, email marketing, and social media marketing, delivered as part of ongoing digital strategies for its clients rather than one-off projects. Under D'Autrechy's leadership, the agency combined website design and development with continued marketing support, aiming to help businesses establish and maintain an online presence over time. With the acquisition, these capabilities were folded into an expanded service set that now includes ongoing SEO, Google Ads management, branding, logo design, and social media marketing, allowing former Buzzquake clients to access a wider range of digital marketing and web services through the combined agency while retaining the relationship-driven approach Buzzquake was known for.
