Founded by Romano Carneletto and Alex Urquhart-Taylor, Roslin Design is a small web design studio based in Edinburgh, Scotland, trading as Romano Alexander Media Limited. Over 16 years the team has designed, built and hosted websites ranging from simple one-page landing pages to complex online shops, working with businesses that need their online presence developed as their operations grow. The company operates with a small team of between one and ten people and positions itself around understanding each client's business rather than simply delivering what is initially requested. The agency's work is organised into three areas: website design, digital marketing and SEO, and hosting and management. Website design covers responsive and eCommerce builds intended to give visitors a consistent experience across devices, with an emphasis on clear, understandable content. The SEO and digital marketing side focuses on making websites search-engine optimised by default and adaptable as a client's business changes. Hosting and management includes website hosting, domain names, and attention to technical performance, page loading speed, security standards, and compliance with accessibility and legal requirements. Roslin Design also acts as a data processor for client sites and maintains documented service agreements covering hosting, data access and deletion, and related policies.
